Evelin Potts joined Lincoln Financial in her current role in 2015. In this role, Evelin is responsible for providing Diversity and Inclusion support to the Corporate, Information Technology & Administrative Services, Legal and Investments Management groups. She also partners to lead enterprise-wide efforts for D&I Education & Training, Management of the Supplier Diversity Initiative and provides leadership to the 6 Business Resource Groups and their members in Lincoln’s key city locations.

Prior to Joining Lincoln, Evelin worked for several Fortune 500 companies including the Prudential, American Express and Sony Corporation of America, and most recently served as the Head of Diversity & Inclusion at pharmaceutical company Novo Nordisk. While at Novo Nordisk, she developed and implemented a D&I strategy for the 5,800 person North American workforce; her responsibilities included education and training, diversity recruiting, compliance, crisis management and myriad other Diversity-related initiatives.

Prior to joining Novo Nordisk, Evelin served as Vice President and Chief Diversity Officer for Wyndham Worldwide a global hospitality company, where she launched six Business Resource Groups and implemented the Diversity Recruitment and Mentoring Programs.

Evelin has received notable recognition for her diversity, inclusion and HR efforts by the Girls Scouts of America, Black Enterprise Magazine, DiversityInc and Diversity & Careers Magazine among others.

Evelin earned a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management from Montclair State University in New Jersey where she was a member of the Beta Gamma Sigma Honor Society. She also attended the Executive Management Program at the Wharton School and holds a Green Belt in Six Sigma.
