Ms. Gardner is a Conflicts and Business Intake Compliance Counsel in the Office of the General Counsel at Duane Morris LLP. Her work focuses on ensuring compliance with ethical standards related to firm policies and procedures, identifying and resolving conflicts of interest, and ensuring adherence to the rules of professional conduct.

Prior to joining Duane Morris LLP, she worked at Pepper Hamilton LLP having administrative oversight over all operational functions relating to the distribution of billions of dollars of qualified settlement funds. Her responsibility included ensuring compliance with applicable Federal/State statutory regulations including Medicare, Medicaid, and SCHIP Act (MMSEA) reporting obligations, Medicare Secondary Payer (MSP), and Third Party Liability (TPL) reporting and reimbursement obligations.

Before deciding to pursue a career in the law, Ms. Gardner spent fourteen years in a number of roles working for the E.I. DuPont Company. There she learned to coordinated complex business departmental processes in support of margins testing, scale-ups, and alignment activities. She was instrumental in the development and implementation of a corporate compliance plan. Completed OSHA compliance reviews/audits, and provided clear/concise reports including recommendations. Developed, implemented, and maintained SOPs, programs, and processes to ensure conformance with quality, regulatory, and company requirements. Monitored key process results against plans to identify issues and provide solutions.

Ms. Gardner is a 2001 graduate of Temple University Beasley School of Law, and a 1985 graduate, of Howard University (B.A., Political Science). She is admitted to practice law in Pennsylvania and New Jersey.
