Eddie Collazo is the Director of Multicultural Affairs at the Department of Behavioral Health and Intellectual disAbilty Services (DBHIDS) in Philadelphia.

Born and raised in Eastern North Philadelphia to 1st generation Puerto Rican’s, Eddie, is the first in his family to graduate from college, an achievement for which he owes a debt of gratitude to an aunt who he calls his guardian angel. Eddie credits his passion for creating equitable and fair spaces to his high school mentor who taught him the importance of inclusion. In his work at DBHIDS, Eddie oversees the work of initiatives such as Engaging Males of Color, Faith and Spiritual Affairs, LGBTQ Affairs and Peer Culture and Community Inclusion.

In his spare time, Eddie enjoys reading, spending time with family and traveling to warm tropical places. His latest obsession is Game of Thrones.
