As Vice President of Merchandising Systems and Operations for Giant Eagle, Stephanie White leads a team that is responsible for strategic planning, development, implementation and support of business processes, information systems and technology for Giant Eagle. This includes leadership of a team that provide assortment, space planning, pricing, promotions, and business intelligence solutions and tools that meet corporate strategies and financial goals.

Before joining Giant Eagle in 1999, Stephanie held the Vice President and Partner at marchFIRST, Inc, an International consulting organization that provided management, marketing, and technology consulting. She was also Consultant, Director, and Vice President of Pittsburgh Operations for Actium, a regional technology consulting firm. She started her career as a Programmer/ Analyst and Project Manager for Westinghouse.

Stephanie sits on Nielsen’s Retail Advisory Board, was a founding member and Vice President of the Giant Eagle Women’s Business Resource Group and was on Giant Eagle’s Inclusion and Diversity Board. She is an Executive Sponsor at the University of Pittsburgh, providing insight into various aspects of the business to senior level administration, students, faculty, career services staff and future team members, and has also been an adjunct professor at the University of Pittsburgh Katz Business School. She was honored as one of Progressive Grocer’s 2012 Top Senior-Level Executive Women in Grocery. She served on Let’s Move Pittsburgh board of directors, volunteers for many other charitable organizations, has been a Cub Scout leader and school Cross Country coach.

Stephanie graduated from the Pennsylvania State University with a degree in Management Information Systems and received her Master of Science in Information Science from the University of Pittsburgh. She resides in Gibsonia, Pennsylvania, with her three children.
