David Brzozowski is the Senior Manager of Training at GNC based at the World Headquarters in downtown Pittsburgh. His recent accomplishments include launching a new Learning Management System while implementing new on-boarding programs for the field teams. David developed the ‘Leading a Multi-Generational Workforce’workshopas an opportunity to better understand how to navigate communications and expectations more effectively.
Previously, David was in the same position at Dollar General based in Nashville, Tennessee. There he led the training team to be named one of Training MagazinesTop 125Training Organizationsinternationallyfor5 consecutive years. His new District Manager program was awardedone of the Top 5 New Training Initiatives of 2015. He was also presented the coveted ‘Chairman’s Circle Award’as employee of the year.
David serves on the Board of Directors asFundraising Chair for Proud Haven, a non-profit organization dedicated to assisting homeless LGBTQ+ youth find resources and safe shelters in Western Pennsylvania. Previously, he founded the EQUAL Employee Resource Group at Dollar General where he wasinvolved with various non-profit organizations. He was named ‘LGBT BusinessLeader of the Year’in 2015by the Nashville LGBT Chamber of Commerce. David remains active from afar and returns each year as the Master of Ceremonies for the annual awards luncheon.
