Trudy Tan is the VP Compliance, North America for AstraZeneca. Trudy is a member of both AstraZeneca’s North America Leadership and Global Compliance Leadership Teams. In this role, Trudy’s responsible for the strategic design, delivery and implementation of a robust compliance program supporting the achievement of the company’s ambitions with integrity and high ethical standards.
Trudy’s been with AstraZeneca since 2006 and had assumed various roles including Asia Pacific Internal Audit Director, China Compliance Director, Asia Pacific Compliance Director and the VP Compliance for the International Region, covering more than 75 markets across Asia Pacific, Middle East, Africa and Latin America.
Before joining AstraZeneca, Trudy worked in a number of Audit, Risk Management, Process Risk Consulting and Finance roles in a major Accounting Firm and public listed companies in Oil & Gas sector and Telecommunications industry.
Trudy obtained her Bachelor of Commerce in Monash University, Australia and is a Fellow Certified Practicing Accountant, with CPA Australia and the Malaysian Institute of Accountants. She is also a Certified Internal Auditor.
A Malaysian by nationality, Trudy’s spent many years living and working abroad including in Australia, Singapore, China and the United States.
