As an experienced leader with a distinguished career, Brian Case is known as a career connector, outreach and relationship builder, teacher, advisor, developer of leaders, and driver of significant results. He has extensive Fortune 100 experience leading various Human Resource functions and Customer/Client Service Operations in various industries. Mr. Case has been a coach and mentor throughout his career. He was the very first recipient of the Merck Diversity Leadership Award.

In his most recent corporate role as Manager, HR Corporate Services, Brian is responsible for a national award winning internship program, university and college relations, diversity outreach and future workforce initiatives at PPL Corporation. He is also responsible for leadership development programs, professional development, career training, succession planning, talent management, and performance management.

Under his leadership, PPL was selected as the National Association of Colleges and Employers (NACE) 2013 Member’s Choice Award winner for branding and diversity work associated with PPL’s Intern/Co-op Program. PPL’s program was also recognized in the U.S. Black Engineer and Information Technology Magazine and nationally recognized university websites and publications.

He provided content contributions to a college classroom textbook, Earn Internships, Secure Employment: A Practical Guide to Writing for the Workplace, for Kendall Hunt Publishing. Mr. Case was also interviewed for millennial research as a companion piece to the book, How Remarkable Women Lead and Centered Leadership. He served as a guest lecturer for a new on-line career module at Penn State University, guest lecturer at various universities and presented at the 2014 PennACE Conference. Recently, Mr. Case was added to the cover of the Penn State University Employer Relations brochure and was the recipient of the first Bloomsburg University Career Connector Award.

Mr. Case has previous corporate experience which includes Merck, Prudential and Cigna. He is an entrepreneur having previously owned and served as President of Career Coaching of the Lehigh Valley, offering professional coaching and training services. Mr. Case was affiliated with MyHR Partner, an award-winning HR Outsourcing company in the Lehigh Valley developing and facilitating training programs for administration at a local college. He also trained clients of Ceridian’s workforce effectiveness and leadership programs.

Mr. Case holds a B.S. in Business Administration/Management from Bloomsburg University and holds various certifications in assessments, coaching, Six Sigma and various leadership training programs. Brian was part of the inaugural Management Advisory Board for the School of Management at Bloomsburg University during the AACSB Accreditation process. He was appointed to the Diversified Careers Occupational Advisory Council for Lehigh Career & Technical Institute and also as the Chairman to the LCTI Business and Marketing Advisory Council. Brian has been active in professional and community organizations, SHRM, and an engaged couple coach for 20 years. He was also a volunteer for the Lehigh Valley Workforce Investment Board CareerLink Academy and the Lehigh Valley Professionals Group.
