Erica Gooch has worked in various capacities at Janssen Research & Development, LLC, one of the pharmaceutical companies of Johnson & Johnson. Upon the completion of her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Hampton University in 2006, she completed a fellowship in Pharmaceutical Benefit Risk Management at Johnson & Johnson and held roles in product safety evaluation, master data governance, and regulatory intelligence. She is currently the interim Head of the Pharmacovigilance Policy Group, where she monitors the regulatory landscape for changes that impact drug safety processes and supports the implementation of new regulations.
Since joining J&J in 2006, Erica has and volunteered and held leadership positions for employee resource groups including the Pharmacist Network, Women’s Leadership Initiative, and Hispanic Organization for Leadership and Achievement. She has been a member of the Janssen Research & Development Diversity and Inclusion Council since 2014. Outside of J&J she also works for the Diversity & Inclusion committee for her theater organization, ComedySportz. Erica works in Horsham, PA, and currently resides in Philadelphia, PA.
